Commercial Entrance Makeover – Cracked Flagstone To Paver Steps
This Long Island physical therapy office had a heaved flagstone walk, loose brick steps and a gravel side yard that sent water toward the building. We removed everything down to grade, compacted a new stone base, and built a paver entry court with wide paver steps, black granite treads for a clean edge, and a low paver-faced retaining wall to hold the lawn and redirect runoff.
The result is a slip-resistant, ADA-friendlier entrance that a business can be proud of — and one that will not heave next winter. We do the same work for storefronts, medical offices, restaurants and multi-family buildings across Nassau and Suffolk County.

We build for those conditions: a compacted RCA or crushed-stone base, proper thickness (4" for walks, 5–6" for driveways), wire mesh or rebar where it matters, air-entrained mix, correctly spaced control joints and a cure-and-seal finish.

Yes. We regularly replace sidewalks, curbs and aprons to Town of Hempstead, Oyster Bay, Babylon and other municipal specifications, and we can help coordinate the required permits and inspections.
How long does new concrete take to cure?
You can typically walk on new concrete in 24–48 hours, park a car on a driveway after about 7 days, and it reaches full design strength in roughly 28 days. We will give you specific guidance for your project and the weather.
